About CCALD

The Council of Connecticut Academic Library Directors (CCALD) is a statewide consortium of academic library directors, working together to improve services and access to resources through cooperation.

Purpose of the Council

  • To improve services and access to resources through cooperation,
  • To benefit economically by purchasing and applying for grants collectively,
  • To serve as a means of communication among Connecticut library directors, and
  • To make recommendations and represent the point of view of Connecticut academic library directors to any agency affecting their service.

April 10, 2026 (virtual) – Managing Interns: How to Attract, Train, and Support Student Talent

June 5, 2026 (in-person, CT State Community College Manchester)
